On September 14th, at 9:00a I will be teaching 108 Sun Salutations as part of a National Event that is taking place to raise funds for Yoga Across America (YAA) a non-profit dedicated to making yoga accessible to everyone, everywhere!  My goal is to have 200 participants come out to Prospect Park in Brooklyn, and to raise a total of $2,000.00!

A few times a week I teach for YAA (Yoga Across America), in which I travel to various High Schools in Brooklyn and teach yoga to students and/or faculty and staff. At one of my schools in particular; Kurt Hahn Expeditionary Learning School, I have been working solely with the football team! This experience has been exhilarating and fills me up with so much joy. In such a short amount of time and practice the team has learned so much, and the practice of yoga has been transformational for them. A friend of mine, Athena along with her camera has been coming with her me and is in the process of creating a photo essay about this experience called "When Yoga Met Football." I cannot wait to share this, when it is complete. Until then, here are a few quick images of some of my teammates, enjoy!
