patience [ˈpeɪʃəns]
1. tolerant and even-tempered perseverance
2. the capacity for calmly enduring pain, trying situations, etc.
3. (Group Games / Card Games) Chiefly Brit any of various card games for one player only, in which the cards may be laid out in various combinations as the player tries to use up the whole pack US equivalent solitaire
4. Obsolete permission; sufferance
It's not easy to have patience. It's something I have to practice everyday. Lately, I find myself trying to find answers to everything. I'm constantly trying to find more time to create, to play, to be. It seems that as soon as I cross one thing off my list, five more things suddenly appear. Too much to do, not enough time! My mom always told me to be patient. She said everything happens for a reason, and somethings need more time than others. So, the lesson I continue to learn is to be patient not only with others and with all the 'stuff' that needs to get done; but to be patient with myself. In doing so, it's possible to be more patient with everything and everyone else; essentially time seems to slow down.
Patience is not easy, but it can teach us what we need to learn.
Practice being more patient in all that you do.
