I am a mama, a yogi, an equestrian, a graphic designer and a photographer. I travel the world as often as possible. I teach yoga. I run marathons. I find inspiration in the colors and textures that make up this world. I am fueled by everyday interactions with my family, friends and strangers. I love animals; especially my kitten, Sniper. I take honey on my toast. I send greeting cards in the mail. I am addicted to the way type affects design. I love to be outside. I collect rare silverware.
Based in New York City, I am a 200 E-RYT Certified Baptiste Teacher with the Yoga Alliance.
Yoga has been a part of my life for over two decades, and my journey began with training under Baron Baptiste, with whom I continue to practice. I remain deeply involved in the Baptiste community, having assisted multiple programs for the Baptiste Institute. My studies also led me to Saraswati Om, an assistant to Sri Dharma Mittra, where I developed a deep appreciation for the classical teachings of Dharma Yoga, a style I now incorporate into my teaching. Additionally, I hold certifications in Ki-Power Vinyasa and Thai Massage Sacred Bodywork and have had the honor of being a Lululemon Ambassador in Brooklyn.
Raised in Upstate New York, I spent my childhood riding horses and playing sports. Although I didn’t realize it at the time, riding was my first experience in understanding anatomy, movement, and the deep connection between body and breath. Learning to move with a horse taught me about balance, alignment, and energy flow, all of which now inform my approach to teaching yoga. After earning a Division I lacrosse scholarship at Old Dominion University, I discovered yoga—a practice that challenged me physically but ultimately transformed me spiritually.
Yoga has the incredible ability to create space—within the body, the mind, and in life itself. It reconnects us to our hearts, breath, and true life force, allowing for profound self-discovery and growth. It is my intention to serve, guide, and share this belief with others.
My classes offer a playful yet challenging power flow, emphasizing strength, alignment, and breath to empower students to cultivate space within and deepen their spiritual connection. I am endlessly grateful to all my teachers beginning with Ms. Northrup, my first riding teacher, Baron Baptiste, Master Sri Dharma Mittra, Saraswati Om, Isauro Fernandez, and Elena Brower for their wisdom and inspiration, which continue to shape my teachings.
My classes are open to all levels, and I warmly invite you to come practice with me!
